 Welcome to Domain Shed.
We are an idependent business, formed to provide an online place for sellers and buyers of domain names. The selling of domain names is done by auction or fixed price. DomainShed is not an auctioner, we only provide a venue foe selling and buying of domain names. We are focusing on Australian domain names, however any international domain name can be listed as well.
Until recently it was not possible to sell Australian domain names (names with Australian domain name extensions: com.au, net.au, org.au, asn.au, id.au). As of 1st June 2008 the domain name policy has been changed by AUDA, Australian domain name regulatory body. (.au Domain Administration Ltd (auDA) is the policy authority and industry self-regulatory body for the .au domain space)
This means that Australian domain names can be sold to any buyer who comply with normal eligibility and allocation rules set by AUDA. For more info about the rules visit www.auda.org.au
